Since
the issue of property rights and patents are the most important
challenges facing the national economy at the global level, especially
after Jordan's accession to the WTO and the signing of several economic
partnership agreements with the European Union, the United States.
To
contribute to the discussion of this issue the Technical Consultancy
Center and Merchants Association and the producers of agricultural
materials, "Business Association", has decided to hold this conference
for the first time on 2005; to gather Arab and foreigner experts to
clarify this issue on agriculture and how to take advantages of IP on
the national economy in Jordan and similar regional states. And Later
to the successes the International Conference on Intellectual Property
Rights in Agriculture has achieved organized by the Technical
Consultancy Center and the Agricultural Materials and Producers
Association, over five years 2005.2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 where it
became the first conference of its kind at the local and regional
levels, for its uniqueness to discuss the latest developments in the
service of the agricultural sector in Jordan and the countries of the
region by a group of international, Arab, and local experts and
specialists. Therefore it was decided to hold this conference for the
sixth session during the period 18-19\9\2012 in Amman- Jordan.
