International law Enforcement IP Crime Conference

Panamá City, Panamá
September 11-13, 2012

The 2012 International law Enforcement IP Crime Conference will be co-hosted by INTERPOL and the Policía Nacional De Panamá in partnership with Underwriters Laboratories at the Westin Playa Bonita Hotel in Panamá City, Panamá on 11-13 September 2012.

The International Law Enforcement IP Crime Conference is a unique forum where delegates have the opportunity to learn about and discuss operational best practices that can be utilized to combat transnational organized IP crime. We anticipate some 500 delegates representing both the public and private sectors will attend from at least 60 countries.
The 2012 Conference theme is “East Meets West: Working with the Americas to Combat Counterfeiting” and will include plenary sessions, operational workshops, interactive round tables and specialized IP Crime learning sessions. It will also feature one-to-one networking sessions when delegates can discuss operational matters with representatives of investigative agencies and other entities. This year there will also be increased opportunities for law enforcement to receive product identification training from rights holders as well as more networking time provided in the agenda to meet with sponsors, IP crime service providers and experts.
